The San Francisco 49ers signed two running backs this week, bringing back DuJuan Harris earlier in the week, and then signing Tim Hightower on Saturday. General manager John Lynch announced the latter signing on Twitter. I can’t even imagine Trent Baalke doing that!
The Hightower signing brings the 49ers roster to 72 players. Below is the full list of players currently on the roster. Prior to the Hightower signing, the NFLPA had the 49ers at $71,551,752 in cap space. That is the most by about $9 million over the Cleveland Browns.
