49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo narrowly avoids pick-six by going full Dan Orlovsky

For their sake, the 49ers better hope this is the low point of the second Jimmy Garoppolo administration.

Garoppolo somehow outdid one of the most infamous plays in NFL history Sunday night, negating his own pick-six by running out of the back of the end zone first.

That really is what happened: dropping back from his own one-yard line, Garoppolo threw a risky ball toward the sideline that was intercepted by Broncos linebacker Bradley Chubb for an easy touchdown. But it was quickly waved off, as Garoppolo very clearly backed out of his own end zone.
