At this point, it’d be understandable if San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy never wanted to see overtime again.
Purdy and his new wife, Jenna, went to Stanford on Sunday night and saw their former school Iowa State lose a thriller to the Cardinal in the second round of the women’s NCAA basketball tournament. Stanford won 87-81 in overtime.
The Purdys arrived at Maples Pavilion about half an hour before tipoff and sat courtside. Purdy recorded two quick videos to hype his attendance at the game, for his alma mater and the NCAA.
