The San Francisco 49ers travel to Los Angeles of their Week 17 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. In what will be the 49ers’ last game of the 2018 NFL season, rookie wide receiver Steven Dunbar Jr. will have his first opportunity to grace the field for the Niners, making his NFL debut.
Dunbar’s promotion comes following safety Jaquiski Tartt being placed on injured reserve following a shoulder injury.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan made the announcement during his Wednesday press conference:
“He knows all the spots from a mental standpoint,” Shanahan said.
