The San Francisco 49ers announced on Saturday that they have promoted running back DuJuan Harris to the active roster from the team’s practice squad. In order to make room on the roster, the team has waived defensive tackle Taylor Hart.
Harris (5-7, 206) originally joined the 49ers on Dec. 22, 2015. In two games (one start) with San Francisco last season, he registered 27 carries for 140 yards along with nine receptions for 97 yards. In 2016, he was inactive for two games (at Carolina & at Seattle), released from the team on Oct. 1, 2016, and later signed to the practice squad on Oct.
