The 49ers swapped cornerbacks on Saturday, promoting preseason hero Asa Jackson from the practice squad and waiving Keith Reaser.
Both have the ability to play both outside and inside for the 49ers. Reaser was active for San Francisco’s Week 1 loss to Carolina. Jackson likely will be in uniform Sunday against Seattle because of his versatility.
