49ers-Patriots final score: SF matches franchise-record losing streak

The San Francisco 49ers showed some signs of life in Week 11, but once again, the team could not get nearly enough done. The 49ers lost to the New England Patriots by a final score of 30-17.

The 49ers drop to 1-9 with the loss. This was their ninth straight loss, which equals a franchise record. The ninth straight loss for Chip Kelly is a franchise record. In the 49ers only other nine-game losing streak, Pete McCulley was fired after four games, and replaced by Fred O’Connor. Bill Walsh (1980), Steve Mariucci (1999), and Mike Nolan (2007) all had eight-game losing streaks.
