Aaron Donald’s retirement was a relief to offensive linemen all around the NFL, including 49ers guard Jon Feliciano.
The 32-year-old declared on social media that Friday was the “Best day ever!!” after signing a one-year deal to remain with San Francisco on the same day that one of the greatest defensive linemen in the history of football called it a career.
Perhaps most indicative of Donald’s reputation is the fact that Feliciano is saying this after facing the eight-time All Pro in just two regular-season games throughout his career that were five years apart from one another.
