All six 49ers who exited their preseason opener are expected to be available for their season opener.

On Friday, head coach Kyle Shanahan was optimistic that the injuries sustained by four starters and two key backups in a 24-21 win over the Cowboys on Thursday won’t be long-term.

“Yes,” Shanahan said, “we’re hoping they’ll all be available Week 1.”

The most serious injuries were sustained by tight end George Kittle and running back Matt Breida, who both have separated shoulders and will miss the final three preseason games.
