The San Francisco 49ers are moving on to the Divisional Round of the playoffs. The 49ers took on the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in a game in which they weren't favored to win. But it's not surprising that the team that won 12 games despite all of their injuries this year did the unthinkable once again, picking up the 23-19 victory.
Since the 49ers are the No. 6 seed, the lowest seed to advance to the Divisional Round, they will have to take on the No. 1 seed. That just so happens to be the Seattle Seahawks, who defeated the 49ers last week to clinch home field advantage and a first-round bye.
