On one hand, a fully healthy San Francisco 49ers offense showed what it was capable of doing in the 41-22 Week 11 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.
On the other, injury problems continued unabated.
The Niners lost linebacker Tatum Bethune (ankle), defensive end Robert Beal Jr. (concussion) and kicker Eddy Pineiro (hamstring) during the game, and none of them returned to action. And for Pineiro's absence, it was preceded by a pair of missed extra-point attempts, which were uncharacteristic for the otherwise-automatic specialist.
And after Pineiro left the game, San Francisco opted to go for a two-point attempt on its final touchdown in the one-sided rout.
