More than 30 Northern California high school football teams are scheduled to attend the first Media Day of its kind in the Bay Area today at Levi’s Stadium.
MaxPreps and USA Football are running the event and the 49ers are graciously hosting.
Coaches and players will participate in organized media sessions focusing on their upcoming seasons, summer workouts and team goals and expectations.
Players will also be introduced to USA Football’s medically endorsed Heads Up Football program — including Heads Up Tackling demonstrations and equipment fitting with USA Football representatives — plus an on-field photography session.
