The 49ers enter Week 2 against the Eagles a bit banged up already, but that hasn’t altered the betting lines. Here’s some last-second need-to-know info.
The San Francisco 49ers can hope for two specific things when they face off against the 1-0 Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2.
First, hopefully, the Eagles’ 32-6 win over the Atlanta Falcons was flukier than an indication of what Philly will be like this season. Second, and perhaps more importantly, no more injuries for the Niners.
Already having lost cornerback Jason Verrett and running back Raheem Mostert to season-ending knee injuries, San Francisco will now be without starting linebacker Dre Greenlaw for at least four weeks, probably longer, as he’s out with a groin injury.
