The San Francisco 49ers fell to the Arizona Cardinals by a final score of 24-20 in Week 1.
The San Francisco 49ers entered Week 1 looking to put to bed the cries of “Super Bowl hangover” ahead of their matchup against the hot-topic Arizona Cardinals.
Unfortunately, following a 24-20 loss in which they blew a fourth-quarter lead, the conversation will be exactly what they feared.
The 49ers jumped out to a hot start scoring on their first two offensive possessions following a 52-yard field goal from Robbie Gould and a 76-yard catch and run from Jimmy Garoppolo to running back Raheem Mostert.
