The San Francisco 49ers have submitted their first compensatory pick of the 2015 NFL Draft. The team had three picks in the fourth round, and with pick No. 132 overall, they drafted DeAndre Smelter, WR, Georgia Tech.
The 49er signed Torrey Smith this offseason, and headed into the offseason program with him and Anquan Boldin as their top two guys. Bruce Ellington and Quinton Patton are question marks, but will get plenty of opportunities. Smelter tore his ACL in November so he will not be expected to make an immediate impact in 2015.
