49ers receiver Deebo Samuel was taken off the field in a cart after his knee was twisted against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
Samuel took a handoff up the middle for three yards before Bucs linebacker Anthony Nelson took him down to the ground. The 26-year-old's body was contorted during the tackle, causing him to fumble the football and remain on the grass in pain. He tried to walk off under his own power, but a cart was eventually brought out for him. The team said he was questionable to return.
