49ers DC Robert Saleh has a hilarious term for his Seahawks Super Bowl ring

San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh takes the 49ers-Seahawks rivalry very, very seriously.

Enough so that the former Seahawks assistant has a pretty hilarious term for the Super Bowl ring he won with Seattle in 2014.

"[The ring is] hiding somewhere in a safe," he said during Thursday's media availability. "I don't wear it, it's a Seahawk ring."

Saleh was the defensive quality control coach for the Seahawks from 2011 through Super Bowl XLVIII, then spent three years in Jacksonville from 2014-16 before joining the 49ers staff in 2017.

He'll have a shot at adding a "49ers ring" to his collection next Sunday when the 49ers play the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV.
