San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan is staying mum about the injury status of one of his best offensive weapons.
Speaking with reporters on Friday, Shanahan would not clarify whether the injury that All-Pro tackle Trent Williams suffered during the team's playoff win against the Green Bay Packers was a high or low ankle sprain. (A high ankle sprain typically requires a longer rehabilitation period.) All Shanahan would say is “good question, though.”
Williams’ health status for Sunday’s NFC Championship game against the Los Angeles Rams is arguably the biggest X-factor for the Niners.
