The San Francisco 49ers got some rough news on their kicker Eddy Piñeiro on Monday as head coach Kyle Shanahan said he will be week-to-week after suffering a hamstring injury in Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
It is somewhat ridiculous that in this year that has already seen the Niners be absolutely ravaged by injuries that their kicker would get hurt, too. But at this point, it is to be completely expected with this team.
They are cursed by injuries, and it is just not going to change anytime soon, so there is no point in moping about it.
