Even though the 49ers lost some players to waiver claims they would have liked on their practice squad, a number of well-known players are returning.
The San Francisco 49ers‘ 2021 regular-season roster won’t look anything like it does right now at the end of the year. And there’s a good chance there’ll be some notable changes even between now and Week 1, particularly if the Niners execute some back-end-of-the-roster changes, which are always possible.
There’s not always a ton of movement on practice squads, but the same rules apply here, too.
