49ers bring back a former Baalke draft pick to bolster offensive line

Mike Person, a former 49ers draft pick by ex-general manager Trent Baalke, was re-signed by the 49ers on Wednesday to provide depth on the offensive line.

Person was a seventh-round pick by the 49ers in 2011 and has played with five teams since the 49ers released him following his rookie season. The 6-foot-4, 299-pound guard/center spent last season with the Indianapolis Colts, where he played in 12 games and started four games at center.

The 49ers had Person on their inactive list for all 16 games as a rookie. He spent two season with the Seahawks (2012-13), a year with the Rams (2014), two years with both the Falcons (2015-16) and Chiefs (2016-17) before signing with the Colts last year.
