The San Francisco 49ers cruised to their second victory of the season defeating the New York Giants by a final score of 36-9 to improve to 2-1.
For the second consecutive week, the 49ers blew out a New York team on the road at MetLife Stadium. And for the second consecutive week, they did so primarily with the help of their backups.
