49ers avoid contract drama with top draft pick, per report

SANTA CLARA — Mike McGlinchey, the 49ers starting right tackle immediately upon being selected with their top draft pick, won’t be a contract holdout for his initial training camp.

McGlinchey on Sunday night signed a four-year, $18.34 million contract that’s fully guaranteed, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media. The 49ers have not yet announced nor confirmed the deal.

Wide receiver Dante Pettis, a second-round selection, remains the only member of the 49ers’ nine-man draft class who is unsigned.
