Tom Brady either will return to the New England Patriots or head to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the 49ers are not in the mix, according to NBC Sports’ analyst Chris Simms.
“The 49ers are out on Tom Brady,” Simms said Sunday in a NBC Sports video. “That is not going to happen. In my understanding, it was Tom Brady’s No. 1 choice, to go to San franaciso and be the starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers.”
