San Francisco 49ers backup safety Antone Exum is keeping himself busy during the 2019 NFL offseason. Along with training for a hopeful roster spot in the Niners’ defensive backfield, he is also working on his aspiring music career as a writer, producer and performer.
The first two songs Exum released this offseason arrived with little fanfare, but his third release is more likely to garner headlines. TMZ Sports recently caught up with Exum to discuss his latest single, titled “Officer Kaepernick,” which Exum described as the “soundtrack” for the followers of former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick‘s social justice movement.
