As everyone is well aware, the San Francisco 49ers new head coach, Chip Kelly, began his downfall in Philadelphia once he harnessed control of the roster.
While that has not happened in San Francisco — and while I doubt it will happen — the 49ers may have just signalled a willingness to revamp their roster in the Kelly mold.
A roster revamp, however, is sorely needed.
