Some NFL teams around the league have already started to make cuts to their roster. Each team has until 1 p.m. PT on Tuesday to get to 53 players.
We made our 53-man projection on Monday. While the majority of the roster is in place, difficult decisions at running back, wide receiver, defensive line, and deciding whether to keep four tight ends or nine offensive linemen will all be debated in the 49ers front office.
Based on preseason results, you could make an argument for 15 of the 49ers defensive linemen to make the roster.
