4:20 According to NFL Insider Field Yates, the 49ers have restructured the contract of running back Christian McCaffrey. The move free’s up $8.576 million in salary cap space for the 49ers.
Restructuring McCaffrey was a move which had been expected. The money saved could cover the cost of trading Trey Lance prior to June 1, or the addition of another veteran.
