3 players who underperformed in 49ers Week 7 win vs. Redskins

The San Francisco 49ers have shown they can win in dominant fashion in 2019, while also displaying a canny ability to pull off victories in ugly ways, too.

Sunday’s Week 7 victory over the Washington Redskins was more of the latter, quite literally, given the sloppy conditions and rainy weather at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.

The Niners pulled off a 9-0 victory, primarily due to their stout defense and staying true to the ground game on a day when finding footing and being able to effectively plant were both hindered. And while San Francisco managed just 283 yards of total offense, head coach Kyle Shanahan’s defense held Washington to a mere 154 yards of offense, too.
