The 2017 NFL free agency tampering period gets going at 9 a.m. PT today, and with it will be a major push for a fairly limited quarterback market. NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport tweeted that the Chicago Bears are expected to make a major push for Mike Glennon. Rapoport reported that the Bears are his preferred destination.
The Bears have put Jay Cutler on the trade market, but we have not really heard any rumors about destinations. There is talk about the New York Jets given his connection to new Jets QB coach Jeremy Bates, but nothing specific has been discussed.
