The 2017 NFL Combine is coming to a close today, with defensive backs going through their position drills and workouts. Ohio State cornerback Marshon Lattimore is a strong candidate to be the first cornerback off the board, but he had a good and bad day on Monday.
Lattimore ran an unofficial 4.36 40, which would normally be cause for celebration. However, Adam Schefter is now reporting that Lattimore suffered a hamstring injury today. I’m not sure if it happened during the run, or in other activities. Schefter is hearing it just “tightened up on him, it's nothing serious," and he is expected to be ready for his March 23 pro day.
