The Associated Press announced their 2016 all pro teams, and no surprise, the San Francisco 49ers were not represented. Long gone are the days when Justin Smith was earning All Pro honors at two positions, or Patrick Willis and NaVorro Bowman were racking up dual-All Pro honors at inside linebacker.
You can’t really make an argument for anybody on the roster to even be a second teamer, or even really in the discussion. Carlos Hyde if he had been able to stay healthy all season might have been a discussion-piece. DeForest Buckner could deserve some rookie team consideration.
