In 49ers rumors, Ahkello Witherspoon was at the center of some NFL trade rumors this past week, however, GM John Lynch denied those during a press conference over the weekend. Witherspoon started at the #2 CB spot last season, however, he has since struggled to regain the starting roll with Jason Verrett and Emmanuel Moseley taking his spot.
The 49ers official practice squad is out and there are some interesting names that made the 16-person group.
