Joe Montana Details His Favorite iPhone Apps For Football Fans

Among all the great NFL QBs, there might not be a better one than Joe Montana. He won four Super Bowls with the 49ers, posting an impressive 14-5 playoff record with the team. The Hall of Fame member played nine years with the 49ers and two with the Kansas City Chiefs, before calling it a career. While Montana no longer plays in the NFL, he remains a sports fan. Like many fans today, Montana stays updated on all the sports news via his favorite apps.

Montana put together his "favorite apps for football fans" on Product Hunt, a website focused for discovering the newest and best mobile apps, websites and tech creations. Montana's credentials in the sports' world speak for themselves and he has several sports apps listed on his profile. We've compiled them below for you, along with a quick blurb on each one. The apps were order based on upvotes on the Product Hunt. With that in mind, here are Joe Montana's favorite apps for sports fans.

Chat Sports
Montana himself endorses the Chat Sports app, which you can download here. Now available on Android, the Chat Sports app allows users to follow live play-by-play for multiple games on a single screen and articles from sources from ESPN to you favorite team's blogs.

Road to 50
This was the official Super Bowl 50 app. While it's not as useful now as it was one week ago, it kept users up to date on the Super Bowl-related events going on around the Bay Area.

Barstool Sports
The app of the Boston-based website. It features all of the content that Barstool Sports produces.
