49ers rumors have linked former Redskins TE Jordan Reed to the Niners. Could SF be interested in signing the free agent? Reed, despite being young, hasn’t been able to steer clear from injuries the past couple of years. The 49ers are still working on a long-term deal with George Kittle but that doesn’t mean that SF is done at the TE position. During NFL Free Agency, the 49ers were “in” on Austin Hooper who ultimately signed with the Cleveland Browns and now they’re talking to Jordan Reed. What do you think San Francisco should do?

The 2020 NFL Draft is just a few weeks away and there’s been a lot of speculation about what Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch have up their sleeves when it comes to round 1. In recent mock drafts, including Todd McShay’s latest, analysts have the Niners adding WR talent. After losing Emmanuel Sanders to the Saints in free agency, it’s a need but is it the biggest need? Some may argue that defensive tackle is more important to address.
If Jerry Jeudy or CeeDee Lamb are off the board at #13, look for the 49ers to draft Derrick Brown. Brown, the DT out of Auburn, is a guy who can step in and make an immediate impact. After trading away DeForest Buckner to the Colts, Brown fills a hole and would provide a young player to play next to Nick Bosa. If the Niners draft Brown, their future on the defensive line is set for future.
