If 49ers free agent Arik Armstead decides to leave this summer, San Francisco would have some big shoes to fill, but there are talented defensive lineman who could fit in well on the 49ers defense, such as Jadeveon Clowney, Leonard Williams, Vic Beasley, Robert Quinn or Ndamukong Suh.

Sticking to the 49ers defense, the secondary will need some upgrades this offseason, especially if Jimmie Ward doesn’t re-sign with the Niners. Some potential free agent DBs include Anthony Harris, Chris Harris Jr., Justin Simmons, Devin McCourty & Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. Finally, Joe Staley is considering retirement and if that happens, San Francisco needs to look for a replacement. Anthony Costanzo, Jack Conklin & Daryl Williams all make sense for the 49ers offensive line.
