The 49ers bolstered their already top-10 defense with the #14 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft by taking Javon Kinlaw, DT out of University of South Carolina. The 49ers spent the beginning of their off-season trading away star DT DeForest Buckner to the Indianapolis Colts. And now that Buckner is gone, the 49ers now expect the rookie Kinlaw to start at DT and continue the recent dominance by the 49ers interior defensive line.
