According to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, Green Bay Packers LB Clay Matthews has been fined $15,000 for his hit on 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick last Sunday. After Kaepernick had stepped out of bounds, Matthews launched into a tackle and brought Kaepernick down on the sideline.
49ers OT Ned Staley confronted Matthews on the sideline, and a brief altercation ensued before referees could restore order.
