3 49ers NFL Draft Rumors From NCAA Pro Day Season

The San Francisco 49ers are hard at work tweaking their board for the 2015 NFL Draft, with the next step being evalulating all of the information coming out from the various college pro days around the nation.

Here's 3 of the loudest rumors for your Niners in the middle of this busy evaluation period.

1. Malcom Brown the favorite at #15?

Several different mock drafts as of late have the San Francisco 49ers picking the massive defensive tackle out of Texas, citing the team's needs on the line and Brown's versatility if the 49ers need to rotate him down the defensive line.

While no official connection has been drawn yet between Browns and 49ers' evaluators, don't be surprised if he's on the team's shortlist heading into day one on April 30th.

2. Michael Crabtree and the draft

According to multiple reports, the San Francisco 49ers are open to the idea of bringing back wide receiver Michael Crabtree. However, Crabtree told reporters as recently as this week that he's "waiting for the right deal" in free agency, giving no mention of San Francisco's chances or legitimate interest level.

Either way, expect the 49ers to stick to a comfortable number if/when negotiation open, while adjusting wide receiver as a need on their board accordingly to how things finish up.

3. A trade up for DeVante Parker?

The 49ers moved up to select LSU safety Eric Reid back in 2013. Would they do the same in this year's first round for Louisville WR DeVante Parker?

It would likely cost the 49ers a swap of their first and a third-rounder to get it done, but the Louisville wideout's stock may be high enough for such a move to make sense to 49ers management. Right now, this is in the realm of speculation, with such a move likely being contingent on what happens with Crabtree.
