On an evening aimed at honoring their senior players, the University of San Diego men’s basketball team had a lot to celebrate before their Saturday night game. There was Isaiah Pineiro, who has averaged nearly 20 points per game this season with 13 double-doubles. Olin Carter III, who moved into fourth place in career points scored in USD history in the ensuing game.
