Women’s volleyball to get tested at home with two top-25 opponents

For the first time in nearly a month, San Diego State volleyball will wear its home uniforms when it takes on two nationally ranked teams this week.

SDSU has endured a rigorous preseason and has started Mountain West play at 1-1. The Aztecs sit at 4-10 and are currently ranked eighth in the conference, below their predicted sixth-place finish.

This week, SDSU will face two nationally ranked opponents: No. 25 University of Wyoming and No. 20 Colorado State.

The weakest point for SDSU is scoring. Throughout the week the team will be stressing improving its hitting percentage in order to hold its own in future matches.
