Thursday, Sept. 21, SDSU lost to the Utah State in four sets (25-21, 23-25, 14-25, 19-25) as it failed to hold on to its one-set lead. USU held the statistical advantage in nearly every category, most notably holding the Scarlet and Black to a .026 hitting percentage in the final three sets.
