The San Diego State women’s tennis team cold start to the spring season continued Tuesday, Feb. 16, as it fell to University of Hawaii 4-2.

The Aztecs started out with a great comeback victory to secure the doubles point as senior Isabelle Hoorn and junior Taylor Lederman lost their doubles set 6-1.

But the tandems of senior Tami Nguyen and sophomore Jana Buth, and sophomore Paola Diaz de Regules and junior Kennedy Davis battled their way to victories, winning their sets 6-4, 7-6, respectively.

At the beginning of the singles matches, it looked as though it was going to be a similar story.
