SDSU basketball gets streaks busted again vs.Fresno State with 58-57 loss

Call them the Fresno State University streak busters.

Last season, the San Diego State men’s basketball team brought an astounding 47-game win streak over California schools into the Save Mart Center and were defeated 59-57.

Sophomore guard Trey Kell’s floater with a little more than a second left in the game did not fall and after an offensive interference was called, SDSU was left scratching its head with a 58-57 loss Wednesday night in Fresno.

The Bulldogs broke all kinds of streaks with the win.

For starters, the Aztecs’ best start in conference play and 11-game win streak came to a screeching halt.
