SDSU baseball loses second game of series to Fresno, 10-5

San Diego State baseball’s woes continued in their second game against Fresno State Saturday afternoon after they dropped their seventh straight game, 10-5.

Now with a 1-10 record overall as well as 0-2 in conference, the loss keeps SDSU in a tie for last place in the Mountain West.

It was the errors that cost the Aztecs in this game, as they committed three leading to five unearned runs charged to junior pitcher Marcus Reyes.

The offense was sparse at best starting out, with both teams combining for just three hits in as many innings, in part due to a diving catch in center field by sophomore Chase Calabuig.
