Rashaad Penny makes history in SDSU victory over Nevada, 42-23

By the time SDSU football took the field against the University of Nevada, its Mountain West Conference championship game fate was sealed.

Apparently, no one informed Aztecs senior running back Rashaad Penny.

Penny had four touchdowns and 429 yards of total offense in the game, returning both a kickoff and punt return for a touchdown along with 222 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

The 429 yards were the most by any player in the FBS this season, and the most in school history, eclipsing a 422-yard performance by SDSU alum Marshall Faulk in 1991.
