Lacrosse hits the road to face Southern California and UC Davis following Easter Sunday win

San Diego State lacrosse was able to pull out another narrow victory, 11-10, on Easter Sunday over the California Golden Bears, ending the team’s four-game losing streak.

The Aztecs’ (3-6) sweep of the Golden Bears (2-9, 0-5 Pac-12 Conference) was attributed to two midfielders: sophomore Caitlin Jones and graduate student Emily Resnick. Additionally, fifth-year goalkeeper Katy Sharetts’ eight saves helped secure Sunday’s win.

On the offensive side, Jones scored four goals out of seven shots and a turnover. Resnick also tacked on two more goals and three assists.

The Aztecs’ defense was highlighted by Sharretts’ performance.
