You'd think Padres fans would be used to getting bad injury news by now, but it doesn't make it any easier. Today we learned that Wil Myers' wrist injury is even worse than we thought and he'll be out for much longer than we had initially feared.
Myers was initially placed on the disabled list on May 19th (retroactive to May 11th) with tendinitis in his left wrist. He stayed sidelined for 28 days, started rehabbing on June 7th, and was reactivated on June 11th. He was given the day off on June 14th, but the next day was placed back on the DL, after playing only three big league games.
