Wil Myers named Padres’ most-realistic trade chip

Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manny Machado stolethe majority of the headlines for the Padres offensive, and rookie Jake Cronenworth got his fair share of attention as one of the league’s most-exciting rookies.

But one player who consistently delivered over and over again was outfielder Wil Myers.

In 55 games, Myers recorded 57 hits, 34 runs scored, 40 RBIs and 15 home runs, good for third on the team. In this abbreviated season, Myers’ pace would have easily crushed his season-high mark of 30 deep shots which he recorded back in 2017.
