Jon Heyman reported yesterday the San Diego Padres were close to signing Korean reliever Woo Suk Go and Joel Sherman is saying it is a two-year deal.

This could end up being one heck of a steal for the Padres, as some relievers like Emilio Pagan and Joe Kelly are going for $8 million a year.
Despite having Robert Suarez and Yuki Matsui, Heyman said Go is likely to be the team’s closer (not sure if I believe that).
